High Five for Friday!

Whew! What a week it has been! It flew by sooo fast, but I feel like I've barely had a minute to breath. Even today, which is supposed to be my "day off" from classes has just been nuts.

I'm linking up with Lauren today for High Five Friday. I love this link up a lot, because it's awesome to see what all of you awesome bloggers have been up to during the week.

I pretty much fail at life and don't take many pictures, so I'm sorry that this post is so plain and boring. But I try to make it somewhat enjoyable for you!

1. I turned 20 on Sunday! It was a pretty relaxed laid back day, but I felt so loved by my friends and family. I had both the whole church in the morning and my whole floor in my dorm at night sing Happy Birthday to me, so that was kind of neat :)

2. I started my internship for this semester on Monday! I'm working for my school's radio and television station doing publicity and promotions. I'm pretty excited about it. Right now, I'm working on promoting the PBS Kids Go! Writers Contest the station is participating in.

3. I had an interview for a summer internship Wednesday! It's with State Farm Insurance, and I would be doing some writing for the advertising department there. It was just a phone interview, but I'm supposed to hear something back in about a week. I'm really excited about this internship, and I hoping I get it! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

4. I survived my second week of classes! I am so thankful my classes are done for the week. Like I said, it was a crazy week, and I can tell it's going to be a crazy semester. I better just get used to it!

5. It's the Friday before a three day weekend! Let me start by saying I don't have classes on Friday, so it's already my weekend, but what makes today even better is that I still have three more days left to my weekend! I definitely need the break after this crazy week!

  2. Good luck with your internships/hearing back from State Farm. I need to start applying for my internships...I just haven't found the time to sit down and do it! I hope you get the State Farm one; sounds like fun!
