This is Your Life in a Song

This is country music.

I may have mentioned several thousand times that I enjoy listening to country music, as well as going to concerts. Last night, I got to enjoy both when I saw Katie Armiger, Easton Corbin, and Josh Turner.

There is just something about concerts, especially country music concerts, that brings joy to my heart. Country music has real life lyrics that relate to every person listening to them. The artists and musicians are generally interested in their fans and audience, and want them to be a part of the experience.

Only half of the arena was used for this concert, which made the setting that much more intimate. My dad and I bought our tickets at 3:00 yesterday (the day of the show), and they were still super close to the stage. We were the 4th row up on the side, and only about 6 rows back from the stage.

First up was Katie Armiger. I honestly had never really heard of her, but I can honestly say I'm a fan after listening to her sing. She seems so down to earth, and her voice is AMAZING. She is one talented lady!

Easton Corbin performed next. I saw him open up for Blake Shelton about 2 summers ago, but we were so far away, and there were no big screens, so I couldn't get a really good look at him. I knew he also was a very talented singer, and had a great voice. But ladies, let me tell you, Easton Corbin is one good looking country boy! He was definitely making me swoon.

And finally, the star of the show...Josh Turner! He is every bit amazing live as he is on his albums. His deep, rich voice just hits a chord in your heart and causes your emotions to go crazy. He put on an amazing, high energy show that kept me entertained the entire time. I would definitely go see him in concert again.

Sorry for the blurry quality of this photo, but Josh Turner is the one in the middle :)
