Taking Lazy to a Whole New Level

I am a hard worker. I know what I have to do and how to get it done. Well, most of the time anyway.
As I've mentioned before, I'm on Christmas break.
I am definitely on break, in every sense of the word.
This has been my view for a good portion of the time I've been home...

As wonderful as this has been, I need to get off my butt and get something accomplished!
Today, I thought I'd make some goals for the rest of this break to give me something to do and something to shoot for.

Start working out again. I've been really, really bad about doing this. I've let myself go, and I need to get back on track. Especially with 2013 quickly approaching, this would be a perfect time to turn my health around.
Apply for internships. I have a couple of job shadows and interviews set up up for this break, plus a whole list of internships I need to apply for. Now I just need to get the motivation to do it all!
Develop my blog. Without classes and school to worry about right now, it would be the perfect time to really do what I want with my blog. I want to start writing different kinds of posts, not just what I'm doing in my life. I want to reach out to more people and build my blogging community.

I want to feel like I made the most of this break and my time home. Now, don't get me wrong, I've done a lot since I've been home already. I've spent time with several of my friends, went to a concert, finished my Christmas shopping/wrapping, done some Christmas baking, and went on my first job shadow. But I could be doing so much more than just laying on the couch day after day!

  2. Hi darling! I found your blog via the coast to coast link up and I'm your newest follower. I'm from the Peoria area and going to school in Champaign! Definitely feeling the laziness vibe being on break. It's much deserved after a crazy semester. I hope you accomplish everything you wanted to and look forward to your future posts :)
